So my life has been quite the roller coaster as of late. My wife and I seperated at the begininning of the year and my life was devolved into a somewhat repetitive cycle of work and university. I had hoped I would be able to draw on this for inspiration but my muse hath forsaken me these last few years, popping by on rare occassions to taunt me and then leave in just a fleeting a fashion leaving me frustrated. My book has been sitting unattended to for many months and any drive to continue my research or continue writing has been like my muse fleeting at best. It's been a while since I had my muse upon my shoulder, whispering sweet musings in my ear. However after many years without her and a creative void in my life she has returned. My new found inspiration is a result of a variety of sources I must admit, I have for the last 12 months been studying a bachelor of education specialising in English at Queensland University of Technology, as a result I have began reading again both for classes but also personal enjoyment. This is not just books but poetry too. I have been exposing myself to many of the greats again like Frost and Poe, Kipling and Byron so forth and so on. My internal monologue is

G'day everyone, Just thought I would drop a new post in here since it has been a while. I am now married and enjoyed a lovely honeymoon in Japan. I have been accepted into a double degree at Queensland University of Technology in Applied Science (Ecology) and Secondary Education (General Science).
